Welp, we have a Steam Deck, did not get this as a Christmas present the previous year. We bought it in the summer of 2023 via funds from the government and some of our money. My Steam account is VerdictKing69 as shown here on my Steam Deck. Man, back in July 2023, all the previous downloads from Steam took a long time! It probably took a few days to get all of our games installed into the device including the 512GB my brother bought on Amazon as well as a dock for the Steam Deck. The Steam Deck was originally released on February 25th, 2022 and only available on Valve's website. Not available on Amazon, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Staples, London Drugs, you name it. We received ours on July 19th, 2023 at our doorstep via FedEx and me and Anthony were excited to open it up. And what do you know, it comes in a box with the carrying case as well. How odd. I was expecting it to have it's own box and carrying case separate. Not complainin' about that tho! Quite happy to own this sucker, but it won't replace our gaming consoles including my brother's ASUS F15 laptop that he got for his birthday this year. Oh and speaking of Steam Deck, there are it's rivals, The ASUS Rog Ally and the Lenovo Legion Go. They look pretty damn cool, but we won't bother with them because the Steam Deck is good enough for us. Enough said.
