Street Fighter 6 - Everything We Know So Far!!

In today's video we take a closer look onto Street Fighter 6, this is the next entry in the Street fighter franchise.
Street Fighter 6 is officially on the way, and thanks to Sony's recent State of Play, we have a much better idea of what to expect from the famous fighting franchise.
Capcom confirmed plans to advance the Street Fighter series (after months of speculation) in February 2022. But, at that time, there were precious few details shared about the next entry in the flagship fighting series. Instead, we got an all-too-brief teaser trailer showing off some in-engine footage, offering us a sneak peek at the game's tone and visual style.
It wasn't until Sony's State of Play in June 2022 that we finally got some of the tantalizing details we'd been waiting for, with an announcement trailer revealing some of Street Fighter 6's modes and giving us a good look at new fighter Jamie, alongside veteran World Warriors Ryu and Chun-Li.
But we're expecting even more details on Street Fighter 6 soon as Capcom has confirmed it is hosting its very own Capcom Showcase on June 13 that is set to focus on details and news on previously announced titles. Street Fighter 6 will release sometime in 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4 and PC.
Currently, we don't have a more firm release date or window than this, and we don't expect Capcom to narrow it down at its showcase given the '2023' window was given recently.
Predicting when exactly in 2023 we could see Street Fighter 6 is somewhat of a tricky task too. Several mainline games in the series have released in February, while Street Fighter 4 was released in July, so we imagine the release could be within that period. However, with many developers delaying their games due to the lasting impact of the Covid-19 pandemic we could end up seeing a later release, which could be why Capcom has simply given a 2023 window for now. However, this is only speculation at this point.
While nothing is confirmed, then, we think it's a safe bet that we could see Street Fighter 6 launch somewhere towards the beginning of 2023.
What we do know for sure is that Street Fighter 6 won't be coming to Xbox One, even if it is available on PS4, though a reason for this hasn't been given.
Capcom gave us a look at Street Fight 6's Real-Time Commentary feature in action during Sony's State of Play showcase.
So far, only Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, Luke (who all have updated designs), and new fighters Jamie and Kimberly have been confirmed for Street Fighter 6. We know that Jamie's style will be based on "drunken boxing" and will combine breakdancing with chugging a ki-unleashing drink.
While Capcom has only confirmed these fighters, shortly after the game's announcement trailer dropped, apparent "leaked" images(opens in new tab) and videos began circulating online that appear to show unconfirmed characters, including World Warriors from Street Fighter 2.
The leaks show even more unconfirmed characters, including returning characters Ken, Ed, E.Honda, Zangief, Blanka, Dhalsim, Cammy, Dee Jay, Rashid, Akuma and Juri. In addition to these returning characters, the leaked media includes some unconfirmed new characters too: A.K.I., Marisa, Mimi/Manon, JP, Lilly and Kimberly (who has already been teased).
While it's always worth being skeptical of leaks, Capcom has since addressed the leak, suggesting that it could be accurate.
