The Callisto Protocol Gameplay Looks Nice! ( New DEAD SPACE!? ) - Gameplay Review

In today's video we take a closer look onto The Callisto Protocol a game designed and developed by Striking Distance, a fairly new studio with a huge ambition, Striking Distance aim to re-create Dead Space for the next gen consoles and PC.
The Callisto Protocol looks and plays almost identically like Dead Space but it has more of a horror feel in it than the Dead Space.
The Callisto Protocol takes place during the year 2320 in a prison called Black Iron. The Callisto is one of Jupiter’s moons, serving as the setting for this adventure. Interestingly, this game was originally set in the same universe as PUBG, but in May 2022, Schofield confirmed this idea was scrapped.
The Callisto Protocol is a single-player survival horror game and will not feature online multiplayer components. Considering Striking Distance wants to stick close to the mechanics of Dead Space, this isn’t surprising.
The main goal of this game is to give players a scary, single-player adventure, harkening back to the likes of Resident Evil and Dead Space while looking like a fresh, modern game.
We see a lot of similarities between Dead Space and The Callisto Protocol, but to be fair, The Callisto Protocol never claimed to be something brand new, they have a vision and it looks a lot like what EA's vision was for Dead Space.
The Callisto Protocol has a lot of gameplay to reveal, this gameplay footage cannot do it justice, because it looks like it lacks a lot in this footage, but since The Callisto Protocol is still under active development, I won't judge it just yet.
