Streets Of Rage (GEN/CDX) Playthrough - Axel - Hardest Difficulty
4Playthrough of Streets Of Rage with Axel Stone through the Sega Arcade Classics 5-1 CD, where the sound effects and soundtrack of the game are completely static free.
Axel in by far the most balanced character in the original Streets Of Rage having both good movement speed and combo damage however, what sets him apart from the other 2 is that he is the only one of the trio who is able to fully combo bosses as his regular combo has no big pauses inbetween hits making then unable to attack through the animations. Axel's drawback however is his lack of range in his attacks ( especially his jump kick since in his case its a jumping knee bash) compared to the other 2 characters making him weird to play if you are used to the great range of Blaze or Adam and that can bite you in the back on the hardest difficulty setting. Despite his drawbacks Axel is the best character in the game if you are making either a high score run or a speedrun but unlike Blaze who is way more consistent and easy to play in those settings, he cant be bth faster and get a higher score albeit with extreme inconsistence as his moveset range issues makes it very unforgiving when it comes to errors.
