In this mission, you will be competing against the village on the other side to get the relic. Whoever reaches 5,000 gold first gets to buy it and win the mission. The map is relatively spacious and you will never fight any wolves or enemies here, so it is a free build. Make sure to tax people whenever mood booster events occur (such as "a fine day") and decrease the tax back if negative events occur.

Having a church and an inn supplied with candles and ale respectively will allow you to tax your villagers a higher amount and help deal with negative events. In general, selling excess candles is a consistent way to make coin, apart from selling excess iron which fares a high price in the market.

Don't forget to build an apothecary to deal with plague events and wells to deal with fire outbreaks.
