You need to collect 320 bread, 800 wood and 64 pitch in this mission as well as clear the ruins from the town before the timer expires. This mission is relatively easy.

I recommend placing in an apothecary first to clear the plague plumes around the map, then build 3-4 lumber camps to get your wood production up to speed. You can now build wheat farms here, which means you can make bread - the most efficient food type in the game. It needs to be processed though (wheat turns into flour via the mill. Flour is then used by the bakers to make bread) but it is a good food type to scale as your population rises. If you have a church going, you can cut down on food consumption by decreasing it to one-half or one-fourth even, so as long as popularity allows it so you can get the 320 bread faster.

Use your lord to clear the ruins while waiting for your wood to stock up.
