Good Morning!

I'm pretty late on all this and the way I went about this video was VERY different to how I've seen others go about it, but that's alr imo. You get what you get with Spidz YouTube.

Some Notes
- I did record this over a week ago, and some of my thoughts & explanations have changed.
- The visual representation of the 'personality matrixes' don't FULLY align with my explanation -- I'm not an artist nor an animator, so I struggled to figure out the best way to visually explain. People obviously have way more than 8 traits, and LoR is only trying to apply very nichely to a life. When the visuals get more complicated, I think the visuals fall apart on what I actually want them to mean, but I tried my best lmoa.
- One MAJOR part about the personality-matrix analogy that I forgot to mention is that LoR has always been able to appeal to multiple different niches despite being a single product (I don't just mean PoC v Expedition v PvP v etc., I also mean gameplay styles and goals to get from a game, such as rank climbing/deckbuilding/etc). This is why LoR's spines always have things that I or the Profile Picture Character do not have -- This is a good thing for LoR, but also shows why thinking other LoR players are wanting the same thing as you (as you assume all LoR players have the same view and spines of LoR) is a bit wrong.
- Also, I think "personality matrix" is kind of the wrong term. What you see in the video is more of a "hobby matrix", which would look similar to a personality matrix. LoR can be more than just a hobby (i.e. LoR fulfilled some spines of mine further than hobby - Casting and Content, for ex), and also your personality shouldn't be able to be COMPLETED FULLY by simply 1 video game, but my inability to visually represent my idea perfectly hopefully doesn't make the video non-understandable.
- For some people, other games can never fulfill the spines as LoR, and that's ok. LoR could be a very unique spine for people never to be replaced.
- This video doesn't have a 'main thesis' like most other videos about the announcement. It's mostly just a collection of thoughts I have from the announcement.
- I wish I had spent a little bit more time talking about what I loved about LoR -- highlighting specific moments & events & people that I cared for deeply. The fact I never mention playing in Aegis seasons is a big miss imo.
- I don't think I do a particularly good job articulating why I would prefer to move to a non-card game over a card game. Roguelikes and other games that I enjoy are typically more enjoyable to me than [random card game] in general. LoR was a lightning in a bottle for me in terms of games that I like. I struggle to play Card Games that don't have a beautiful gameplay cycle, UI, interface, visuals, etc. Roguelikes, however, have always consistently provided me with constant enjoyment, almost universally. There are very few roguelikes I don't enjoy. I maybe have a 90% hit rate with roguelikes I play, and probably something like a 33% hit rate with CCGs.

If you have any thoughts do lemme know.
