Super Mario 64 - One Minute Game Review
One minute review of Super Mario 64:
Mario is invited to Princess Peach's Castle for a cake when he finds out she's been kidnapped by Bowser, putting our hero in an adventure across the magic paintings of the Castle to catch enough Power Stars and save the Princess. The levels inside the paintings are very distinct thematically for both aesthetic and music, which is a treat to listen. Mario can perform all sorts of jumps and stunts to traverse the worlds he visits, and while controls are slightly stiff today I love how much skill based Mario's movement is. A few of the many Power Stars can feel frustrating to get by today's standards, but this is still a very fun and satisfying game to play since you can choose which Star you want to get. Graphics are very dated but have their own charm especially if you played any video games of that era. Mario 64 is probably the most important game for the history of this entire industry, and if you love gaming you can not miss out on it.
