Well guys first at all I WISH TO YOU ALL AN EXCELLENT NEW YEAR.
This year will be awesome for gamers an specially for PS5 users.

Now getting into the subject, this DLC has good things but also very bad things, which make it a difficult dish to digest as DLC. THE BEST THING THAT THE DLC OFFERS IS THE STORY, IT IS WITHOUT A DOUBT WELL THOUGHT OUT AND CONTINUES THE THEMATIC CONSEQUENCES LEFT IN THE CAMPAIGN.
Apart from that the DLC is a lot of the same and mediocre, but lets talk carefully about that.

A GREAT CONTINUATION TO THE STORY BUT AT HALF?

As I said before, the DLC is based on the necessary consequence of Aphen and Shionne's actions in the main campaign, by overthrowing the status quo created by the Renan. It is obvious that conflicts will now manifest themselves in the interaction of both races, which in the end is one. As a consequence of this Alphen will have to fight with his own darkness as a person and as the liberator. Unfortunately, this excellent theme is left aside at the end, to focus on Nazamil's tantrums and how to fix the shit she created.
In the end the Nazamil thing is resolved, but they leave aside what was really worth developing, that is, the conflict between both races.

One last thing, NAZAMIL as characters is very poorly designed, her personality and context are fine, but they made her too powerful that it is even ridiculous, the things that girl can do are crazy. The worst thing is that it does not have a justification or basis that makes it credible. It's as if Jesus or Muhammad appeared out of nowhere, saying I'm back to screw up your lives. Without the slightest context or explanation of why or how he has this level of power. (POOR CHOICES)

THE MINI METROID EFFECT?

I don't understand why they decided in this DLC to make players who finished the game lose progress, or reset the progress of arts and skills to the initial state. I guess because of the grinding and artificially extending the gameplay, stupid decision and it only makes the DLC less interesting.

A LOT OF RECYCLE?

Im used to see this kind of practice in the japanese studios (FS, Team Ninja, etc) but this time they went a little far. It is normal for studios to recycle content, it is a very common practice in the medium. But I can say without fear that this time, they went too far. There is no boss outside of Nazamil that is new or changes the gameplay, it is more of the same and in the end it gets tiring that they use the same strategies from the main game.

A LOT MORE OF GRINDING?
By applying the metroid effect of restarting the main game progress, it is clear that they want to force the player to grind to recover the lost progress, at least for those who did not purchase the content with extra DLC. Since the final boss has a little more stamina than the rest, they are in for a bit of that.

THE OST?
Sadly the DLC not offer new tones or theme to named, is pretty much a recycle of the main ost with a few changes. SO nothing good to say here

ALPHEN AND SHIONNE?
Come on? After all this crap you dont give me the marriage or a more private scene moment between them, just a lot of Nazamil tantrums.

CONCLUSION?
REALLY OUTSIDE THE STORY THERE IS NOT MUCH TO GET FROM THIS DLC, I RECOMMEND IT IF YOU WANT TO GET TO KNOW A LITTLE MORE ABOUT THE WORLD AND ITS CONFLICTS. BUT BETTER WAIT FOR A SALE AND FOR A FULL VERSION OF THE GAME, THIS DLC REALLY LEAVES A LOT TO DESIRE.
