The culmination of my first Mount and Blade Bannerlord playthrough. This was a day one save that just got too scuffed. Months of patches and mods had broken the stability of the save. As well as, ever present early beta bugs (which were patched if one made another save) caused me to abandon this save.

As any Mount & Blade player knows you can put dozens of hours into a save and not even make it into the late game, so this was a tough decision. Though Gurtrude's Empire never rose we will remember her finest hour.

This is the great battle of Delmengus. By far not the biggest battle Gurtrude had won but a testament to Bannerlord's early access fun and overcoming jank with stubbornness, and salt, is viable. My favorite battle I've had in this game. From both sides have almost zero archers to our horse archers constantly suiciding into a vastly larger enemy force. This was a memorable moment for me and I wanted to try and give it some more color. Can't wait to play more once this comes out of early access.

Quick context to fight:
Was streaming and trying to get more fiefs for our clan to eventually rebel. Started reading twitch chat and didn't notice the Battanian army raining down on us. This playthrough had been on the downturn for awhile, things never going our way, and this was the cherry on top. A 3 -1 battle with suicidal ai make for a teeth grinding fight.
