Wow! Xbox and PlayStation good. (mini-rant)
Ok so totally covid, quarantine, lockdown, whatever-you-wanna-call-it brained this video's production. This was originally going to focus more on the controversy surrounding Microsoft's (at the time) recent decision to double the price of Xbox live to $120 a year but I somehow forgot I had classes starting less than a week after I started making the video. So after struggling through my first weeks of class, while working on this video, I can now inform you that you should never make a "hot topic" video unless you wanna feel very rushed. Eventually I changed the angle to talking about other aspects of paid for online so if the pacing of the video is a tad odd that's probably why.
Sony and Microsoft have been at the forefront of the online multiplayer world. When did this start? How did people feel about it at the time? Can AAA games' price tags still be justified? Are we all just boomers? All these questions will probably be at least mentioned in this video!

p.s. Please leave feed back in the comments section :D Was the video too fast paced? Did I gloss over some important detail? Were any examples too confusing or feel out of place? Did I just do a good job?
