The BEST accessories to defeat Gilgamesh | FF7 Rebirth Walkthrough
14In this video, I'm going to show you how to obtain the best accessories in FF7 Rebirth to defeat Gilgamesh. With the help of these I could almost defeat him on my very first try (even if I fumbled miserably and had to try only 2 more times to get it done), so I'm pretty confident you will do better! There are timestamps in the description of the video and YouTube player as well in case you want to jump to any part of this video in particular. Without further ado, let's jump to the Party composition.
The accessories I'm talking about are the draconic ring, enhanced draconic ring, and Enhanced Expeditionary Medal. The draconic rings will allow you to boost the limit gauge filling rate by blocking, and in these fights, we'll be doing a lot of that, especially your companions. The Expeditionary Medal allows you to use Lv. 3 Limit Breaks since the beginning of the fight. By the time you attempt to do this, you should have enough SP points to reach the level 3 limit break for Cloud by reusing your nodes in the Maghnata books and only unlocking those that lead to the limit break 3. If that's not enough, I suggest doing the following sidequests to unlock all of Cloud's SP Points. Please pause to read all of them and their regions.
HOW TO CRAFT ENHANCED DRACONIC RING AND ENHANCED EXPEDITIONARY MEDAL
To be able to transmute these accessories we need to get the chips that allows us to do that. For the Draconic Rings, complete the Cosmo Canyon Excavation site, for the Expeditionary Medal, the Nibel Excavation Site and for the enhanced accessories, complete the Six-Person Bouts: Harmony of Discord in the Gold Saucer Colloseum.
Once you complete those, we need to get the necessary materials for crafting. Here is the list with all the materials you need.
10 Crimsonite Crystal, 3 Emeralds, 1 Jabberwock Horn
8 Exquisite Beast Hides, 5 Moonstones, 3 Crimsonite Crystals, and a King Zu Feather.
1 Draconic Ring, 1 Pirate Jetsam, 1 Aureate Horn, 4 Dark Matter.
1 Expeditionary Medal, 1 Pirate Jetsam, 1 Lustrous Feather, 4 Dark Matter.
The Crimsonite Crystals and Exquisite Beast Hides can be bought with any Chocobo vendor, the Emeralds with the Moogle Emporium and the Moonstones while exploring with your Chocobo on the Nibel region.
The Jabberwock Horn and King Zu Feather are rewards for defeating the final enemy intel boss fight in the Cosmo Canyon and Nibel Regions.
The Pirate Jetsam is a unique material found while navigating with the Tiny Bronco in the open sea.
The Aureate Horn and Lustrous Feather are Gold Saucer rewards bought with a bunch of points.
And finally, the Dark Matter is granted after completing some minigames like Rank III in the Dolphin Show and Rank II in G-Bike and Galactic Saviours, both in Expert Mode.
And that's it! Once you get all of this, you'll be able to craft these items, that will make the fights a LOT easier!
