I'm not 100% sure this is true, but it seems to me like the White Sword from the original Legend of Zelda is the same blade as the Noble Sword in Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons.

The Noble Sword has a curved hand guard, much like the sword on the title screen of the original Legend of Zelda, which I believe is supposed to be the White Sword.

Plus, both swords serve as the intermediate weapon between the Wooden Sword and Link's final weapon. Furthermore, it seems the Oracle games were originally planned to be a singular remake of the original Legend of Zelda, so it makes sense that both games would have the Wooden Sword and the White Sword somewhere.

Oh and also, the Noble Sword is actually called the White Sword in the Japanese version of the Oracle games. It's certainly possible that these are two separate swords, but I do think the White Sword and the Noble Sword are the same weapon. BECAUSE WOULDN'T THAT BE COOL??
