THE STORIED SWORD (A New NES Homebrew from Bite the Chili & Raft Labs) - Full Playthrough
THE STORIED SWORD is a new, challenging NES platformer in the style of Ninja Gaiden x Batman: The Video Game. Do you like wall-jumping? You have to play this! Developed by Bite the Chili Productions and Raft Labs, this game is now on Kickstarter with digital ROMs and physical NES cartridges on offer: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bitethechili/the-storied-sword
I have had the pleasure of playtesting this game over the past year or so, but this is my first full playthrough of the final(?) game. After playing it many times and seeing it evolve, I can guarantee that the developers have made the best game they possibly can, carefully designed and balanced for players at all levels.
[Played on hardware: EverDrive N8 Pro on NES-001, composite upscaled by RetroTINK 2X-Mini]

I live stream 8-bit Nintendo games (usually NES, Famicom, or Game Boy) every Wednesday starting at 10 p.m. Eastern. I also stream other games across multiple consoles whenever I can, from retro to modern, console and PC. I play physical media on original hardware whenever possible.
***My streams are chill and generally family-friendly. I only ask everyone to be respectful and kind to each other in the chat.***
