Tunic is a 3rd person action-adventure game, and at first glance you could be forgiven for thinking it’s styling, and colour pallet suggest a simple Zelda rip off. Watch this full Tunic Game Review by Gameplay Casts to help you decide if this videogame is for you!

I really love the sense of mystery and intrigue this game generates. The game uses a lot of contrasting styles and ideas that create layers of depth, that you just don’t expect at first glance. The challenging combat is offset against the subtle puzzles and secrets. The cutesy art style contradicts the darker subplot to the games setting and story. But instead of curdling like out-of-date milk, these elements mix perfectly, capturing the kind of magic that old school Zelda games pioneered. But it’s not a simple copycat, it creates its own unique take on the genre. I mean how many games can you think of where the narrative is driven by the game’s manual and the puzzles and coded messages hidden within?

It’s not perfect, and there are a couple of things I would really like to tweak, but the changes I want are just improvements or additions to the existing game mechanics.

I hope this Tunic: Zelda Rip-off? - Full Game Review by Gameplay Casts has helped you decide if Tunic is a game for you! Please leave your feedback and any questions in the comments.
