The Sega Saturn had some great shooters, in Japan. One of them was Batsugun. This game was later ported to the Nintendo Switch. The beta Sega Saturn core for the MiSTer FPGA also looks great. Sega's Saturn was a failure in the west, but popular in Japan. Unfortunately, that makes the system rather rare. The system does have some great games, again mostly in Japan. In this short, I show a side-by-side comparison of a Nintendo Siwtch and the MiSTer FPGA core for this console. The game I am featuring is Batsugun. I love shooters, and the Sega Saturn had a lot of great ones.
