GAME REVIEW IN DESCRIPTION

This is 3Deep Space, a space shooting game by Postern where a player must shoot their way through hoards of charging spaceships.

If you think the colours look a little odd then you must relise that this game is design to play with the retro 3D Glasses with one blue and red lens.

Surely this must be one of the first 3D games available to buy its funny that over 30 years later 3D gaming hasn't caught on at all.
The 3D effects are noticeable and the mountains do provide some nice scenery. The simplicity of the graphics however means that the 3D effect is not spectacular and the novelty wears off slightly after a while.

Under the 3D feature is a standard space shooter and the graphics are very simplistic (I assume to ensure the 3D glasses work properly).

Sound wise there are some nice effects and is a real positive side of the game, there is a real sense that the player is blasting their way through the levels.

Overall the game on its own is a standard shooter which doesn't stand out too well. However, if you do have some old skool 3D glasses then its worth checking this game out just for that retro 3D feel.
