GAME REVIEW IN DESCIPTION

This is 3D Tanx for the BBC Micro which is a shoot em up where the player has to shoot and destroy enemy tanks from crossing a bridge. The destroyed enemy tank's wreckage will then block the path for any other tanks to cross. Once the whole bridge is blocked then the level is completed.

Shooting tanks requires a good aim as there is a delay from your shell from hitting the bridge. In addition, unless the enemy's turret is hit then they can still shoot back from their wreckage.

This is an interesting twist on and it does work quite well and creates some fun and frantic gameplay.

The graphics are simple but colourful and do well to set the scenery.

One downside is that after losing a life then there is no 'invincibility' period for the player and they are thrown back into the action where they left off and it can lead to losing another life straight away.

Overall this is a fun shooter for quick burst gameplay and the highscore board adds to the replayability.
