Blood Lines: Magician's Chase 2 level 1 ie Castlevania 3 Frustration
Just glad I barely made it. There is so much to be annoyed at but I am glad I could brute force the first level. 2nd level gets a 3rd character so you get better at rotating, and using a subweapon for each character (they can't trade/share). I also learned you back dash by pressing nothing and dash (still can't jump while doing it nor dash in mid air). You dash by pressing forward and the dash button (customizable buttons at least; I prefer ZR that it calls RZ which is hilarious).
That sniper girl, Sakura, is damn near useless (she can't aim her gun) which that crawl was hilarious to fall on the breaking platform though you can access small areas. Fighting the piranha plant and missing with her gun was as unintentionally funny as missing that little enemy with Layka's whip for the other one (and being so close to the candle it misses just like the cheap medusa head style bat). And missing the bat with the rolling grenades was my best gaming fail ever 🤣.
Definitely use your subweapon. You also cannot combine a dash with jumping, so it is more of an evasion move. First game was better, and this only had 1 difficulty. At least it is fun bad/so bad it's good.
This does play with switching characters like bloodstained curse of the moon 1 or 2, which are inspired by castlevania 3. Let alone all the blood in the titles like casltevania bloodlines on genesis (2 words for MC, though before the title which 2 is not a space).
