This particular run was more of an accident, as this attempt was initially intended to be a showcase of the Any% speedrun of Castlevania II: Simon's Quest instead of an actual attempt to improve the time. After I hit a couple double floor drops and a first life blob boost did I decide to see if this speedrun could go all the way. Fortunately it did, but there were enough mistakes to keep me interested in improving my Personal Best time.
