I had no idea the backboard shattering effect is in College Slam. It doesn't look as awesome as the Arcade version of NBA Jam but it's nice to know it's in there. With a bit of modding I believe it can look really good. Not sure why the glass shatter is orange and purple. Made it look like confetti lol I'm thinking they snuck it in there, and they had to change to color because suits felt it was too violent. Midway even had to remove it out of the Arcade revision of NBA Jam T.E.
