** Recommended to be as tanky as possible

- Animal:

- DLC Exhibition:
• This is a DLC weapon showcase video, so I will refrain from using (Air) Musou and (True) Rage Musou for offense.

- Analysis:
• _Please read all about Dragon Column's mechanic down in the Comment section. There was not enough character limit to fit it all in the description._

• Dragon Column is one hell of a weapon to play and probably the least popular out of all the DLC weapons. Its gimmick allows it to chain its Normal Strings into Counter Stance through blocking. If an attack comes in contact during Counter Stance, it will counter with an attack similar to its charge attack animations. When Counter Stance successfully activates, it contains a ton of invincibility. There is a bit of downtime recovery where the player is vulnerable, but difficult to exploit unless the player is swarmed with (multi-hit) attacks. Because of the enemies' non-aggressive state while Counter Stance is active combined with its elemental inconsistency, bad elemental moveset and lack of physical damage, Dragon Column's offense will be VERY slow. On the bright side, it is one of the tankier/defensive playstyle thanks to its mechanic + Steely Heart + no Frenzy.

- Movesets:
• Counter Stance 6 (S5→B6) on a successful grab contains triple elements. Outside of B6, all of its other attacks only has a max of 1 element. The nice thing about B6 grab is that it is always grounded, therefore, Thunder works very well on it (3:20). Cyclone is good because the two slaps causes splash damage and can be blocked by nearby officers (11:55).

• C5 is its more spammable charge attack and contains the best AoE. With Weapon 1 (Physical), it packs a decent punch allowing it to OHKO most peon variations for KO counts (Triumph). With Weapon 2 (Elemental), it allows it to control a multiple officers at once. Even though C3 and C4 contains an element as well, C5 is overall a better charge attack due to its wider AoE. Player needs to watch out for C5 since it does temporarily put Dragon Column in an airborne state.

• Switch Attack (SA) is nice to fling targets away to create artificial space. In this video's case, it was used to fling Deng Ai away from those non-destroyable arbalests (5:24). SA has a neat property where it ricochets off walls. It is kind of nice if SA is facing the wrong way near a wall.

• Block-(Hold)→S1 instead of S1→Block-(Hold) will have Dragon Column preemptively block beforehand and immediately transition S1→B2 for the ultimate safety. Great for countering any incoming danger like Musou-counters, etc. (5:17, 12:28, 13:03, etc.).

• Block-(Hold)→Jump IN PLACE allows Dragon Column to: If the player is close to the ground, auto-Dive→B3 or: If the player is not close enough to the ground, they fling away without taking damage.

- Option(s):
• Awareness attribute allows Dragon Column to block anything from all directions. Without it, it can only block what is in front. Strongly recommended if the player wants to fully utilize the gimmick.

• Steely Heart allows the user to be as tanky as possible when playing the "best offense is defense" gameplay. With Steely Heart and no Frenzy (Defense drop), the player is able to tank certain Musou and 2x Attack buff attacks with more comfort. Still though, don't face-tank Lu Bu's Air Musou, etc.

• Weapon 1 (Physical) is designed to deal as much damage through Normal Strings S5-repeat while Rage is active. Triumph is also on Weapon 1 because Dragon Column fills Rage most effectively through C5 kill-to-fill physical damage.

• Weapon 2 (Elemental) is meant to take advantage of its B6 triple element for super officers and for "best offense is defense" kind of gameplay. Despite having a decently high base Attack, the weapon deals very pillow-like damage.

• Induction + Explosive, both can be utilized for B2. B2 is a multi-hit attack, but very difficult to use. The combination of its cons really make it semi-unusable due to how difficult it is to hit blocking officers. If the player can land all these B2, then Storm Rush offense is a possibility.
