This is the Grand Final of EDL #9 (European Duel League), a Quake2 online tournament, that featured the best Q2 players of that time.
The finalists are PURRI (SWE/FIN) and David (POL).

You also don't need to own the full Quake2 game, as the multiplayer part of the game is free. All you need is the Quake2 Demo + the official 3.20 patch.
