Released under their 3D Realms brand in 1996, Duke Nukem makes his transition from a kid-friendly 2D sidescroller to a 3D environment with adult content. Ken Silverman's Build Engine is used to render the game, and features a functional scripting language in the CON files for creating new mods like the Platoon TC.
