Expeditions from Stonemaier Games. The Scythe sequel. How sequel-y is it? Do you have to have played Scythe to play or understand this one? Thankfully, the answer to that is no. But are you interested in an interesting action selection system with tableau building slight worker placement game driven by heavy (but random) card play on a hex based grid? Let's talk through it with my pros and cons, as well as a new feature in all my reviews (hopefully going forward) of whether or not it's staying or going in the collection.
