The main reason I made this video was because there needs to be more unironic readings of non-Friendship is Magic fanfics on YouTube. (The only one that comes to mind is Eon Fable.) For the unaware, this is about Team Ember, a group of minor characters who appear in Treasure Town. HawkTalonflame, aka Owl, is a fanartist, best known for drawing the cover of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Silver Resistance. Some of her other fanart inspired one of my own fanfics... which is currently on hiatus because I got bored of writing it. I was going to make a Rise of the Guardians review for Easter Sunday, but I held it off because I couldn't get the words out, then cancelled it altogether. I'd already decided to do this reading, and since I promised myself to get at least one video out each month, I decided to do this instead. Now I can focus on Indigo Riffs on My Little Pony: The Movie (1986) for May, which I've been looking forward to making.

I might make other fanfic readings inbetween bigger videos. To set your expectations, the only fanfics I'm willing to read out loud are shorter, completed ones.
