40Blue are the feelings that live inside him.
This doubles as both more Adobe Premiere Pro practise - in this case, unlinking audio and video - and a preview for The Tragic Tale of the Original Female Red Ranger. So far, I've written a lot of the script, but not the part where I go scene-by-scene in the relevant episodes. This clip will be part of the preamble.
Also, if you've never seen it, Power Rangers SPD is absolutely bonkers, even by Power Rangers standards. The main crux of the show is the rivalry between the mentor - a blue, scaly, anthropomorphic dog named after Freddie Kruger, who can fit his face into a human-sized helmet - and the main villain - a space-conquering skeleton, who the executive producer has said is based on Maleficent, who talks to himself in the dark and sounds like he's constantly out of breath. The mentor's assistant is a cat woman who speaks in technobabble, while the main villain's assistants are a magical womanchild and a modulated-voiced bat with his head stuck in a water cooler. The female red ranger is the least weird part.
The main reason I enjoy this show so much is that the executive producer clearly had an IDEA for the world he wanted to create. I thought "aliens have been living on Earth for years and people are mostly okay with that" would make a good premise for a movie when I first re-heard of SPD, but who needs interesting settings when you have 90s nostalgia? That being said, an SPD movie would be the perfect opportunity to ride the coattails of Detective Pikachu.
