in my first attempt I wasn't paying attention and spent so much time just slowly raising his stagger while he took no damage. After like 10 minutes I thought to myself "I must be doing something wrong, I haven't staggered him yet." I was still using my Paradigms from the Cauis fight so I thought maybe I needed sabs or something. Then I realized I'm stupid and I have to kill the tenticles first...

After realizing that, I restarted the fight and it was still a bit tricky. I bought some new weapons from Chocolina. I lost my atb charge and chain bonus, but the stats boost was too much to ignore. I kind of stuck to my Cauis strategy, raising his stagger as much as I can before dishing out the real damage. There were a couple of times where he through up it's defenses again before my stagger ended which kind of ruined my speed. I got 0 stars so there's probably a better way to do it, but with 200,000+ HP and no 3rd party member, I'm probably bound to have so really slow boss fights looking forward.
