This is a fight that COULD use a turn if I chose to. Thankfully you can automatically counter attack if you're attacked whether or not you have the materia equipped or not. In fact, materia does not work in this fight anyway.

And we've finally reached the end. Who would have guessed that I wouldn't use a single turn since Gongaga? In the end I finished with 89 turns, though 87 turns should have been my total because of the mighty grunts. There are also plenty of turns I could save in theory from critical hits. In all of the turns I took, only 1 was critical.

I think there may be some room to save a couple more turns. I probably should have gotten cross slash sooner. But maybe someone else would like to test/beat my number?
