Geez, this is one of the greatest video games based around pinball in existence. I kid you not. One thing you should know about me though is that I kinda hate pinball games. I always have, and I probably always will, but this game can't help but put a smile on my face. I acknowledge the ones I feel to be "good" pinball games, but as just about any pinball enthusiast will tell you, nothing tops the real deal. This game however takes everything we've come to know about pinball and exaggerates it in ways only a video game can. It's actually quite brilliant if you're into these games.

In this game, you play as "a drop of silver" that hardens and bounces around the galaxy of make-believe pinball machines. There's the typical Jackpots and multi-balls, but also segments where you can jump, shoot, and do various other things. The game also has a game that's kinda like Pinball, Pong and Breakout and the levels are very dynamic in their design. The best part of the game is accomplishing and starting a mission (which can open new stages when completed) that show awesome and humorous little cutscenes that are so rewarding that you feel like you win even when you lose.

This game is magnetic, but the visuals can be somewhat distracting and some of the sections are just too cramped, which really boosts the difficulty and frustration. Anyway, this is a somewhat uncommon but cheap (?) PS2 game published by Capcom (in the U.S.) and Ubisoft (in Europe) and developed by Sony... why Sony couldn't release it themselves is beyond me. Enjoy.
