This big old boy is a greedy guts and will eat whatever you throw at him.. And I mean whatever, those piles of skins you always spawn with you can even just throw them at him… if you want to be waiting for like.. 2 days to tame it.
This sloth is a passive tame, so you throw its favourite food at it and let it much away till tamed. Its favourite foods are Snow owl pellets.. Remember those things that came out of the owls mouth.. Yeah those.. *shudder*,AND they eat metal structures.. Followed by stone, wooden and metal tools. These things don't even have to be crafted, if you don't mind lowered tame efficiency and waiting a little longer you can throw metal, stone or wood at this boy.
There's no real fancy tips I can give you about how to tame him, apart from if you want to be an og get a snow owl and fill it with stims, then fill it with meat and make it vomit it's little heart out.. But that is still a pain, the timers and everything are so close id suggest for your best tame just using metal structures
What kind of attacks does this boy have? Testing on a 150 perfect tame
A left click slash doing 109 damage
And a right click thump doing 103
Unfortunately that's all of the attacks that the sloth has.. And they are SLOW
But surely it can harvest things right? A great harvester dino right? I CAN HAVE A FARMING SLOTH RIGHT?
Nope, bloody oath its so bad at harvesting everything… next to no stone or wood gets harvested no matter how high the melee is.
What about as a long distance sprinter like the Managarmr, you know that creature that is part wolf.. Yeah yeah I saw the comments! I did it for the puns… no its a sloth mate
So what EXACTLY is this good for?
The Gacha has an amazing talent being a walking drop! Seeing Extinction does not have a normal drop like the other maps, this critter fills in that drop sized hole in all of our hearts.
If you tame yourself up one of these bad boys and put anything you want in your inventory and it will eventually change it into something else, usually with quite high speed. Each Gacha can create up to 6 different things, such as, black pearls, metal and pop out a crystal that you can gobble up to recieve weapons of different qualities, because thats how you obtain what they make for you? Just pick up their fallen crystals and eat them up! You will find a hidden item in each one. the fastest way to make sure you get the most out of your gacha is filling their inventory with owl pellets and other higher tier yummys like metal.
To increase the quality of what you get out of your Gacha you can level their crafting skill, making them create more in a short amount of time increasing the quality of weapons as well. On our server people almost always get Mastercraft shotguns out of these sloths.
How do you obtain what they make for you? Just pick up their fallen crystals and eat them up! You will find a hidden item in each one
What else can we tell you about these big slow creatures?
They have a personality, a very strange addition to the game, Gachas can become DEPRESSED. They do not enjoy company of their own kind and if they are too close to another of their kind they will look away from you and barely produce anything!
These means in your Gacha pen they should always be 10-15 foundations away from eachother! To be honest you dont even need a pen, these guys do not have to be wander to produce items for you, you could just have them lounging around where-ever.. As long as they dont get too close and be depressed.
But how can you tell if your Gacha is happy? Well it will give you a big old goofy grin! Looking directly at you.
How will this guy fit into PvP?
The rate of which Gachas can drop high loot is outstanding! Making it cheap and easy to mass produce extremely good gear, this will make it much easier for bigger tribes and even smaller ones to high very good gear for their raids.
Outside of crafting gear the Gacha has absolutely NO USE for PvP.. its attacks are slow, its not fast moving.. It just is pretty useless outside of being a gear grinder…
So what stats should we be leveling in our Gachas?
CRAFTING!
You will want all that high tier gear popping out as fast as you possibly can!
