Another monthly update for Gran Turismo 7 has arrived and this time we got a brand new car with the Aston Martin Valkyrie. GT7 is only the second proper racing game to ever feature this car, with the first one being Grid Legends. Here you can see the car in action in both games on Red Bull Ring, including cockpit and side-by-side views.

The new GT7 update once again doesn't add a new track and only 3 new cars, with two of them being different generations of existing cars. The Aston Martin Valkyrie is a completely new addition to the franchise though and hasn't been in many racing games overall yet.

Once again I tried my best to set identical lap times in both games for a nice side-by-side comparison of the two games. In this case I had to restrain my driving slightly in Grid Legends for the times to line up perfectly but overall the speed of the car is fairly similar in the two games.

Interestingly the cockpit view speedometer seems to be locked to mph in Grid Legends, while it seems to change with the player setting in Gran Turismo 7. I also had a bug in Grid where the start/finish area was permanently filled with confetti during the replay...
