Sega Rally is an old arcade rally franchise with 5 different games released between 1994 and 2011. Here you can see a championship run in Sega Rally Online Arcade (Sega Rally 3), which is the latest entry in the series so far.

Sega Rally is a series that I had already heard about a long time ago but I had never actually owned or played any of the games. Recently I looked into the franchise and its different games though and I was able to get a copy of Sega Rally Online Arcade for the Xbox 360, which is the home version of the arcade machine game Sega Rally 3. Allegedly the game was already delisted on the Xbox store ages ago but I was still able to find a working code for it on Ebay.

The championship mode consists of races on Tropical, Canyon and Alpine and your goal is to get from 22nd to 1st place over the course of those races. If you make it you get to do a 1vs1 bonus race on Lakeside. This race is very difficult to win because the AI charges ahead at the start and it's hard to catch back up to it. If you win you unlock the Lakeside track for quick race.

There is also a classic mode where you race a Celica or Lancia on a fifth track called Desert. And there are a bunch of raid or land rush vehicles that can be unlocked by completing certain objectives in various modes.
