here's a my full 7th playthrough of "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future" of me using the character totally not inspired by benimaru nikaido from KOF series & paul phoenix from tekken series, jean pierre polnareff.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future, also knowing as "JoJo no Kimyo na Boken: Mirai e no Isan" in Japan, was released back in September 13th, 1999. it's an updated version of Jojo's Venture. with more new characters, new intros, additional stages and some story changes. so, it's the name commonly given to any one of the versions and ports of a fighting game developed by Capcom, based on the part 3 of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders. so, this is becoming the sixth and last game released for the CPS3 arcade game after Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike. Console ports, however, of this version for the PlayStation (PSX) and Sega Dreamcast were released later that year, while a high-definition version titled Jojo's Bizarre Adventure HD Ver. was released for PlayStation 3 (PS3) / PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade / Xbox 360 in August 2012.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future is one of the best fighting games ever made by capcom, l'm really enjoying playing this game is on fightcade, and it's such a unique take on fighting games with amazing mechanics and everything.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future is set in 2D, similar to Street Fighter series by capcom, but is fast-paced and focuses more on the use of combo techniques. and also it's introduced a number of new features including: the ability dash, back dash, small jump, normal jump, high jump, and so on, and so on. the game features 16 characters and 6 hidden characters. It uses a 4-button layout: punch, kick, strong punch, stand, & taunts. combat is one-on-one set in best-two-out-of-three rounds. one of most of the game's unique mechanics derive from the introduced was Stand Mode. Many special moves and attacks send a combatant's Stand away from its user, making it more difficult to protect both at the same time; each character's orientation is based on their position towards their opponent, and not necessarily the opponent's Stand. If a character is damaged while their Stand is far away, the damage received is doubled. On top of the "Vitality Gauge" and "Super Combo Gauge", there's a third gauge, the "Stand Gauge", which decreases when a theses character's Stand is damaged and refills when Stand Mode is switched off. If this gauge is depleted, a Stand Crash occurs, leaving the character paralyzed and open to attack for a moment.

The mechanics of each Stand create strong differences between the game's characters, and force different offensive approaches for each one. this "character-dependent gameplay" style would inspire several subsequent fighting games, such as the latter entries of the Guilty Gear series (which, interestingly enough, also contains rock and pop music references).

overall, it's one of the best retro fighting games ever made by capcom, there is. solid gameplay, great graphics, great character roster & outstanding soundtrack. it also contains some one of the best character themes, most notably: black polnareff; hol horse; jotaro; kakyoin & avdol.
