The King of Fighters XV - Duo Lon's Official Reveal Trailer! (Season 2)
8alright so, what's going on, my fighting game crew, this is axel here. so, SNK is drooped for the latest DLC characters news of season 2 from KOF XV, and that is the 2nd member of OG ash's team & elisabeth's team from tales of ash saga, duo lon. and of course, like l said for theses season 2 DLC characters trailer: duo lon is not gonna part of the teams at all, he's single entry DLC, just like did theses season 2 characters like shingo, kim, sylvie & najd one in few months ago.
anyway, he's looks great, l'm definitely trying him out in KOF series like: he's looks cool as hell in 2003 (and u know, he's one of the most broken characters in 2003.); but, l never played him in XI & XII, and then he's pretty fun as hell in KOF XIII, but, l suck at duo lon's combo trials at all.
but anyway, his duo lon's redesign is pretty much the same from XIII, nothing special.
as for him climax super tho, this is actually new one for me. starting up the ghost launcher, and then grab them on his hand for gato, and then finishing up, my man is doing some, it's kinda like raging demon super for akuma from street fighter for some reason. but yeah, this is kinda sick climax super, this is soooo much better than his neomax super from XIII.
and speaking of character theme in XV trailer, that theme playing during the duo lon's trailer (like l said in EVO 2023's teaser trailer from this game.): "Splendid Evil", this is actually the new remix version of XV, one of my favorite team themes in KOF 2003.
also, the new duo lon's voice actor in this game: that's keisuke komoto. so, there is no OG duo lon's voice actor: "tsunehito maruo" was hasn't changed in this game in loooong time since KOF all star (mobile version), which is kinda sucks lol.
DLC character DUO LON arrival to KOF XV on September 12th.
overall, duo lon looks great, l'm definitely trying him out in KOF series since 2003, also l'm doing some arcade run for 20th anniversary celebration of KOF 2003 series on december for my youtube channel, so, stay tuned for that. and as well as release date for duo lon, that is september the 12th (that's next week / tuesday, btw, right before mortal kombat 1 / 12 early access next week as well.)
so yeah, now, we gotta wait for 1 more DLC characters to go in season 2 from KOF XV on december this year, that would be hinako. so, hinako is going to be coming up on december at the game awards, l think? well, who knows, we'll see happening for once all season 2 DLC characters is done. annnnd then moving on to season 3 DLC characters next year.
