You all asked for it and it's finally here! Behold, the final skill grind of the game, the push to max out communication. You'd think that the fastest way to increase this would be to have deep and fascinating conversations with the people who live in Shapeir, but no. There's a far more effective method and that's haggling with the apothecary. A lot.
Every attempt to negotiate down the price of an item gives you communication experience and the apothecary sells the most items we can pontentially buy by far. What's more, resetting his prices is as easy as leaving his shop and entering back in.
If you're reading this and thinking 'Hey, that's exactly the same method you used to max out your barter skill in Betrayal at Krondor!', you're absolutely right. Sierra may have only published Betryal at Krondor, but it's too similar a training method to be coincidence, right?
