AquaNox 2: Revelation is a first-person shooter game set in the same universe as its 2001 prequel Aquanox. It was released in 2003 for Windows. The story runs parallel to the one in its prequel. In this iteration, you will be following the adventures of a young William Drake and his crew of misfits through the depths of Aqua.
Game-play is identical to its predecessor, this time so much more playable with the fixed mouse controls. Character design and voice acting are also more "normalised" which makes long dialogue sessions that much more bearable. Though, I somehow prefer the keyboard-controllable menu in the previous game.
In this play-through I tried to complete as many optional bonus objectives as feasible, though some were not done due to lack of finesse, and I missed some critical dialogues so a good chunk of side missions were missing anyway...
