[Longplay, No Commentary] AquaNox (PC, 2001) Full Play-through
AquaNox is a first-person shooter game set in a post-apocalyptic world where humans were driven into the depths of oceans. It was released in 2001 for Windows. The setting for this game is one-of-a-kind which sets itself apart from the other FPS games of that time, or even to this day. The story is cliche by today's standard, but good enough to keep players going. Game-play wise, it is linear and repetitive at times, but never boring. The BGM is surprisingly good which helps to keep your adrenaline pumping.
One major problem when playing this game with a modern PC is the terrible mouse controls, especially when using a gaming mouse with high polling rate. If you're replaying this game yourself, I advise you to lower the polling rate and sensitivity of your mouse if possible, or perhaps just use a lousier mouse.
I am replaying it for the nostalgia factor and hopefully share the same feeling to viewers.
