Monochrome Pixels is a VN, by a team, which is a lot of people, where it tackles about toxic game industry, and you play as Diana, where she was ordered by her awful and narcissistic boss Godric to mentor Enya for a week, while dealing burnouts, night terrors and harassment on the toxic workplace. This route tackles the best ending.
Overall, this is a two in one vn, story, and as well, likely an experience like you're just imagining it. I don't want to spoil much, but this made me enter emotional trainwreck, alot of feels had happened during the whole playthrough, a number of times I had sympathize and empathize with the two characters. It also does really tackle and shows how game industries are today mostly lately. There might be some humors here and there which at lightens abit during the harshest moment, and it does really well. Overall again, I enjoyed the vn, and as well saw the themes discussed pretty well this game. As for the art, it's vividly variety of beauty, I like it! Diana is really cool, Enya's cute, and I guess Godric does really leave the impression of being the awful CEO companies of today or like the description said, narcissistic. Musics are pretty good! The visuals do actually set the tone and theme of the vn. I also like the bunch of the brand/media renamings, and immediately recognize what game/app/etc they are referring to. Overall, it's one of the excellents for me, I gave this a Seal of Approval, likely Blood Dust as well anyway. Also, I almost forgot the VAs! Even if it's like partial, they are pretty good, and gave me the impressions of the characters and their tones, and as well matches with their personality.
So I'm unsure yet when I will tackle the other endings, but might be only 30fps, since exporting them on the 48fps is already a pain, so I'm sorry about that. but still probably around this month, even might be while playing ZENO remake. I will also do immediately the EXTRAS part once both of these are uploaded, alongside with another game.
