2This is my World Record Run of Need For Speed 3: Hot Pursuit in Aquatica (Backwards) for both the best lap category and the total 2 lap time category as well for Simulation Mode. The rules for this category are pretty straightforward as its basically do your best run in a particular track however since i am using a emulator, i have to keep the FPS display on as per their request. Aquatica backwards is even worse then Atlantica in comparison when going backwards as some of the sections just dont make sense in the racing line sense especially when it comes to the section with the tunnel with 2 entrances for instances however, when it comes to lap times going backwards will be faster compared to going forward as overall you are able to go much faster AND the shortcut in the U-turn section is actually viable to be taken as the end is flat with no risk of lifting off the ground so even if you mess up the exit slightly or ends up lighty crashing wont result in a significant time loss. This makes the 2nd instance where a track going backwards will be faster than forward and also the last one as the next tracks wont break tthe forward being faster rule. This one also took multiple tries to get a good run as getting at least the shortcut entrance somewhat right will likely decide if the run will be good or bad.
