Eine Stunde Gameplay von "Diablo II: Lord of Destruction", einem Hack'n'Slay Action Rollenspiel entwickelt und veröffentlicht von Blizzard im Jahre 2001 für Windows PC und Mac, basierend auf der einem Jahr zuvor erschienene Basis-Version "Diablo II", hier gezeigt in der Windows PC-Version.
Im Spiel wählt man aus einer von fünf Klassen, bzw. sieben Klassen im Falle des "Lord of Destruction"-Add Ons und kämpft sich durch zufällig generierte Ebenen und Verliese auf der Jagd nach besserer Ausrüstung, Gold und Erfahrungspunkten mit dem ultimativen Ziel, am Ende des Spiels den namensgebenden Höllenfürsten Diablo zu besiegen bzw. im Add On dessen Bruder Baal.
"Diablo II" ist bis heute ein ungebrochen populäres Spiel und definierte das Genre der Action-RPG's vollkommen neu, mit Standards die im Genre bis heute gültig sind. Diese massive Popularität führte unter Anderem auch dazu, dass 2021 ein Remaster des Spiels unter dem Namen "Diablo II: Resurrected" erschien, welches das erste Mal überhaupt auch "Diablo II" auf Konsolen umsetzte.

In the game the player choses from one of five respectively one of seven in the case of the "Lord of Destruction"-Add On character classes and battles through various randomly generated plains and dungeons on the hunt for better equipment, gold and experience points with the ultimate goal to destroy the Lord of Hell Diablo respectively in the add on his brother Baal.
"Diablo II" to this day is massively popular and defined the genre of action RPGs completely new with standards that are still the golden rule in the genre. This massive popularity also was a reason in the the release of a remaster in 2021 called "Diablo II: Resurrected" which also marked the first time ever that "Diablo II" found its way to consoles.
