One Hour Of "Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine", a third person action adventure developed and published by LucasArts in 1999 for Windows PC with Subsequent ports to Nintendo 64 in 2000 as well as Game Boy Color in 2001, with Factor 5 being the developer for the N64 and HotGen being the developer with THQ being the publisher for the Game Boy Color versions, shown here in the Windows PC version.

The game is set after the first three Indiana Jones Movies but before "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" and "The Dial of Destiny" in 1947. Indiana Jones is tasked by Sophia Hapgood - known from the Point & Click Adventure "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis", who now works for the CIA - with a mission to find out something about an ominous machine that is way too advanced for the time it stems from, the titular "Infernal Machine".
As usual Indy sets out again to a world spanning adventure to find out more about this Infernal Machine and ultimately prevent ultimate doom for the world once more.

The game was the first Indiana Jones game in 3D as well as the first game to feature Cold War Era russians as enemies for Indy instead of the usual Nazis, probably setting the cornerstone for the 4th Indiana Jones movie.


Eine Stunde Gameplay von "Indiana Jones und der Turm von Babel" (besser bekannt unter dem internationalen Namen "and the Infernal Machine"), einem Third-Person Action-Adventure entwickelt und veröffentlicht von LucasArts im Jahre 1999 für Windows PC mit nachfolgenden Portierungen für das Nintendo 64 im Jahre 2000 so wie den Game Boy Color im Jahre 2001, mit Factor 5 als Entwickler für die N64-Version so wie HotGen als Entwickler mit THQ als Publisher für die Game Boy Color Versionen, hier gezeigt in der Windows PC Version.

Das Spiel findet nach den ersten drei Indiana Jones Filmen statt jedoch noch vor "Königreich des Kristallschädels" und "Das Rad des Schicksals" im Jahre 1947. Indiana Jones wird von Sophia Hapgood - bekannt aus dem Point & Click Adventure "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis", welche nun für die CIA arbeitet - damit beauftragt, etwas über eine bedrohliche Maschine die ihrer Zeit scheinbar viel zu weit voraus ist, die im englischen Original namensgebende "Infernal Machine", herauszufinden.
Wie üblich macht sich Indy also wieder einmal auf zu einem weltumspannenden Abenteuer um mehr über diese infernale Maschine herauszufinden und wieder einmal die Welt vor dem sicheren Abgrund zu retten.

Das Spiel war das erste Indiana Jones Spiel in 3D und ebenfalls das erste Spiel, welches Russen aus dem Kalten Krieg als Indy's Hauptgegner hatte anstelle der sonst üblichen Nazis, was möglicherweise auch die Grundsteinlegung für den vierten Indiana Jones Film war.
