Welcome back everybody! To Let's play Oxygen Not Included Gameplay, part 5. Time to turn the natural cave of clean water in to the actual clean water tank and support it with the water purifica-tion system we have started to research in the previous episode of Oxygen Not Included! With it we can make more clean water we just need sand and a bit of power from the generators. Problem however happen with the contaminated water tank. It turned out the contaminated water tank is way to small for all the water we stated to pump last time of Oxygen Not Included. So we need to make it bigger however the space is a bit limited but there is also another problem. Because of the contaminated water tank is sealed of the pressure there is bad for the walls that start to leak bad water in to the colony and making our colonist even more stress – and thats something we really need to avoid for now in Oxygen Not Included. While making the pipes system make sure you won’t mix the contaminated water pipes with the clean water pipes. For later when we will finally make showers in Oxygen Not Included this may be a very bad effect on the stress of our colonists! When it comes to leaking walls make sure the natural tanks of water are not made out of weak resources. Sand is a very bad type of wall to hold of big amounts of liquids! And they may and will leak at some point!
The materials that are all over the base also reduce the amount of decor for your colony that also make the colonist more stressed so its important to have a room with storage but even better is to put the storages next to the rooms that need said storage. Coal next to coal generator, sand next to filtration machines and so on. In the next patches of Oxygen Not Included there may be more materials and more uses for the devices around the colony. The leaking walls are a problem if you can mix two different liquids! But even worse. Flooded base won’t allow you to use any of the furniture beds, food stations and so on. The mostimportant things around the colony needs to be secured just in case something terrible happens so that you can seal of the danger zones without any problem. Dirty water in please, clean water tank ready. We need to make sure we have more rooms tho for the future furniture we can make around the base. We need to start to really worry about the stress levels in the colony as that make a quick downfall. With damaged generators there will be no power to fuel the oxygen filtration and water filtration without them we won’t be able to provide our base with survival and life support.
