Pocky & Rocky SNES Review
14Pocky and Rocky「奇々怪界～謎の黒マント」is a scrolling shooter developed by Natsume and published for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System between 1992 and 1993 across all regions.
After successfully teaching the Nopino Goblins a lesson in the arcade shooter that precedes this game, the monsters have become rowdy and it is up to Shrine Maiden Pocky, and her Tanuki friend, Rocky, to put a stop to them. As the adventure continues, our heroes soon find out that the enemies are being controlled by a mysterious figure wearing a black mantle.
Being a scrolling shooter, this isn't a typical game I would play, but it is one I remember fondly from my childhood. Is it worth playing today? Check out my review, to find out.
