Rayman 2 - Shell Wall Climb
With this newly discovered glitch, it's now possible to skip the first half of Menhir Hills 2 entirely. That's the good thing, however the bad thing is that because of how you see how this works, it's safe to say that Cave of Bad Dreams Skip will never happen.
So the way this works is that you have to tire out a shell near the wall. And it has to end up facing the wall when it's to a complete stop, and the wall has to at more than 90° for it to work. This was only tested in this level and on this particular wall so further testing is necessary...
The most logical use for this would be to do this glitch on either of the two visits to this level, as skipping the shell section and the rest of the level skips at least 11 Lums, 3 more if you count the cage Lums after it and another 1 Lum that's behind the breakable door. Succesfully executing this glitch in Menhir Hills 2 saves 30 seconds in Any% speedruns and 15 seconds in Take the Treasure.
This glitch is insanely difficult on 30 FPS (which is recorded here), but much more easy to get consistent at 60 FPS. In either case, it's surely usable for a TAS.
