San Diego 3 Railers Lionel GE Demo AC6000 action; March 16th, 2024
9Went down to the San Diego 3-Railers on March 16th, and had a good day operating my Lionel GE Demo AC6000 with a freight train and my GE Demo ES44. I’ve had this locomotive for around 1.5 years, but battled fixing it half a year after I got it. Story is in a pinned comment below, but long story short the sound card was messed up.
After getting the sounds working, I also wired in the ground lights that were left off this production run of the model. I still need to 3D print housings for them to be secured properly on the shell. While working on the ground light housings, I will also 3D print some number board light shrouds. I want to completely eliminate the light they shine in the shell and in the door window.
