San Diego 3 Railers Lionel SP Kodachrome SD40T-2 action; December 23rd 2023
8Went down to the San Diego 3-Railers on December 23rd, and had a good day operating my Kodachrome SD40T-2 with a manifest freight train. I also ran my Western Pacific SD70ACe with the club coal cars, just to fill a line. Everything went pretty smoothly all day; SD70ACe had 0 issues all day. But the manifest freight train had some issues throughout the day; center beam car had a coupler that would randomly open (I fixed that pretty quickly) and after I finished filming my SD40T-2 decided to start randomly derailing on one specific switch. By the way, the Union Pacific center beam is a new addition to my collection and I modified the SD40T to have the MU cables sticking out of the holes of the plow.

All of the footage is in 1080p60. Some parts will be a bit dark, due to the FPS.

18th clip (14:09): SP 8530 ties down its train and shuts down for the day
