Basic tutorial on doing the Secret Base 2 Skip.

Contrary to popular belief, this skip is really consistent with practice and is easier to do than a clean skipless runthrough of the stage IMO. But it also doesn't save THAT much time - so if this still seems intimidating, one can still choose to just do the stage normally and get a decent time.
