Welcome to my playthrough of Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood,

This is an Turn-Based Role Playing Game or RPG for short made by BioWare.

During the game you get to choose the way Sonic reacts to what he is told by the other characters, and I will be trying to keep Sonic in character as we know him at the time this game came out (that being mid 2008)

This game starts with a small note from professor Gerald Robotnik talking about the "Fourth Great Civilization" suddenly vanished at the height of their glory.
At this point we are shown that, some time before our adventure begins, Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends are about to stop the latest scheme of the notorious dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, it ends with our heroes infiltrating Eggman's Egg Carrier where Miles "Tails" Prower is able to cause a power failure that causes the ship to fall from the sky and crashes into Eggman's base: Metropolis.

After a while we come back to see that after this latest adventure Sonic had been exploring the world, but he is contacted by Tails that since he was gone somethings have happened that they now need the hedgehog's help with, these troubles being that: their friend Knuckles the Echidna as well as the miracle gems known as the Chaos Emeralds have been taken by a mysterious croup of criminals known as the Marauders.

After exploring a little bit and helping out an old man to chop some wood, our path is blocked by boxes pushed in our way at this point we run into Amy Rose, who after breaking the boxes joins us as we make our way to Central City, before we make our way to the city we run into one of the Marauders that Tails and Amy were talking about, The Marauder was sent by someone named Shade to stop us from progressing so we were forced to fight them in order to proceed, and after beating him we are able to continue to Central City, which is where we will be continuing from next time.


Now for the gameplay of this game specifically during battle:
In battle you take control of Sonic and friends to choose what they do during battle with the choice between: Basic attacks, defending, using items which are used by a simple tap on the button on the touch screen.
We also have the option to run from battle which would lead you to a mini game where you have to time your tapping on the character in order to jump over the obstacles and collecting the rings(which are your currency only otherwise obtained throughout world exploration) and lastly we have the special POW moves which activate a mini game in which you have to time tapping on the circles in order to attack using the special, how well you do on the mini game determines how much damage you do, or even with certain support moves, if they work at all.

And now for the World exploration:
You have access to up to 4 characters to choose from during exploration with every character having a certain field move ranging from Sonic's dash move which lets him run through loops and other obstacles, to Tails' flight move which lets him fly from place to place in order to explore more of the area.
