Welcome back to Sonic Chronicles,

Tis time we make our way into Central City, where we make our way to Tails' Workshop, when we meet up with Tails he explains what happened since Sonic had gone away.

Knuckles came to Tails for help because 6 of the 7 Chaos Emeralds had been stolen, then Tails and Knuckles set up a trap for the thieves, but the Marauders were able to jam the trap and overcome Knuckles with their many members, and since then Knuckles was gone.

We then move out to the city to find GUN to help find clues as to where the Marauders have taken Knuckles, but before we can do this we are ambushed by some broken down Eggman Robots, after beating the robots we join up with Rouge the Bat a spy for GUN who then brings us to their base in the city, where we meet up with the GUN commander who tells us that the Marauders' next target now that Knuckles is out of the way would probably be the Master Emerald up on Angel Island.
GUN had been looking into where Knuckles could be and they have found four potential locations he could be across Green Hill Zone and Central City, so now its our job to investigate these locations and in order to do that Rouge joins our party.

At this point after helping out the locals we find that in the first of the four locations that Eggman's robots are still operational in these old bases.

But we have to see what is in the other three next time.
